Why don't you have a go? Just try taking a queer episode from life and fictionalising it. If you submit your story to OurStory Scotland, we may archive it, and a selection will be published here on our website.

Through the power of imagination we create fictions, fabrications and fairytales, based on LGBT lives and experience, but developed into stories where the principle is artistic truth rather than strict historical veracity.

Here are some examples of fiction created specially for OurStory Scotland.

Try writing your own queer version of Scotland's national flower:
>> The Legend of the Rainbow Thistle

Dom came across an evocative small ad in an old copy of ScotsGay magazine from 1995 and decided to give it a fictional context:
>> Disaster Zone

OurStory Scotland is currently holding storytelling workshops: contact us if you would like to take part.
